Game Time: 10 of Old Melurbian (1382)
Location: Sappers Tunnel under the Ash Plane, just outside of Noldair.

The group is approximately 250' from the end of the tunnel. Bono heads back towards the Dwarven base. Two dwarves come towards him and pass by him. He knocks both of them out. The alarm from the dwarves forces Sol and Rondax to begin knocking down the tunnel supports, which causes a second cave-in. Only Tyke and Bono are outside the area surrounded by the cave-ins.

Those stuck betwen the piles of rubble start to hear muffled noises coming through the rubble. Rondax freaks out and starts digging before JL can calm him down. JL then uses his dimension door to get everyone on the other side of the collapse.

Sol grabs a suit of armor from one of the dwarven sentries and down the tunnel. After approximately 500', Sol finds the tunnel opening. It opens into a military camp, fully equipped to lay seige to Noldair with tents of dwarven soldiers and rows of seige weapons.

Sol & Bono (disguised as a dwarf) head out to find the "strike force." After an hour, they're unable to find anyone that matches the description. They do find the tent which houses the strike force. Inside he finds six dwarves that he recognizes from the ghosts.

Bono sees a Serinite wizard walking with a dwarf. The wizard appears to be dragging something. Bono gets close enough to pick up the robes to see a spider type body. The creature is a actually a neogi (umberhulk commander). The dwarf calls out to it by name, Malthrix. Malthrix claims to be the only one of his kind on the planet. The two discuss plans to activate the Fire Engine at dawn. Bono continues to trail the pair.

Meanwhile, back in the cave. Rondax communes with nature (taps into his Barbarian Totem), gets an overview of the military encampment. Finds out there are two major tunnels heading into Noldair. In addition, there are several natural tunnels under the city. While Rondax monitors the rubble, the remainder of the group is staying approximately 150' in from the entrance.

Bono notifies Tyke, who leaves his post to the investigate the neogi. Bono follows the pair to a separate tent. The pair enter the tent. Bono directs Tyke to the location, where they both wait. They soon feel abjuration magic radiating from the tent.

Bono decides to use hi Ring of Shooting Stars, dropping a ball of lightning on the tent (dealing 24 dmg). In the mayhem that follows, Bono follows up with Sycron's singular summoning, using Dianibus' notebook page, which summons an Imp. Tyke sees the neogi and does nothing. The neogi vanishes, Tyke responds with True Vision. The imp starts to harass the Dwarven wizard (name is Antarius). Bono sends faerie fire at the neogi, outlining it in fire. The neogi responds by casting Darkness which pulls ini the light, killing the faerie fire. Black tentacles sprout from the darkness. The neogi slips into a tent while Tyke trails it. The neogi starts to cast, but Tyke lets loose with Disintigrate. The neogi vanishes before Tyke's spell hits. Bono gets out of the darkness, and sends the imp after the neogi. Tyke attempts to determine the direction travelled by the Dimension Door.

Sol finally arrives and finds out from Tyke that there's a neogi. Bono attacks two dwarves heading towards Tyke. Sol grabs a hold of Tyke, who uses Dimension Door, folling the neogi. They end up in small dark room with stone walls and a single door, it appears to be a pantry.

Bono overhears a captain in the dwarven army blaming the wizard for the disturbance. The captain starts issueing orders to get the army into the sapper tunnels. Bono realizes he needs to get to the group and get them out of the tunnel. To keep them out of sight, he's going to need to find a cart on the way.

Back in the sapper tunnel, JL goes out to the tunnel entrance to see what is going on. The camp looks like a stirred ant hill, dwarves are hurrying around, preparing to move out. Bono is getting close to the tunnel with a hand cart.

City: Tyke and Sol follow the footprints out of the pantry and find the neogi in the corrider. It immediately casts Hold Person?, catching both in its grasp. It continues down the corrider into a circular opening. Tyke gets into the courtyard but cannot see the neogi. Those in the courtyard are discussing the dwarven movements. As Tyke walks into the courtyard, the neogi attacks.

Tunnel: As Bono arrives at the tunnel entrance, he sees Sarsa's party. Sarsa commands Bono to take her to his commanding officer. Bono attempts to convince Sarsa of the pending doom. Sarsa orders a sergeant to head into the tunnel. The group waits in hiding for the approaching dwarf. Rondax grabs the sergeant, grapples him, and runs deeper into the tunnel. The dwarf breaks from Rondax's grasp, but is immediately struck by Rondax's sonic hammer. While Rondax deals with the sergeant, JL & Prentice block the door with stakes.

City: Sol is still stuck by the neogi's spell, but the battle continues.
Malthrix: hits Tyke with a bite / claw combo and poisons him.

Esper: power fails to affect Tyke
Britigine Cleric: Burning hands hitting both,
3rd Guard: deals Ice dmg to Malthrix.
Sol: lands three hits on Malthrix
Tyke: failed to break attack.

Malthrix: attacks Tyke and kills him, then moves away.
Sol: kills Malthrix
All three guards attack Sol

Cave: The group is looking for a way out. Herman casts gaseous form on Rondax and himeself. Prentice calls for Divine Intervention.

City: Tyke makes his death save, Sol gives him a potion.
Guards: One of them casts Wall of Force.
Tyke casts Wall of Fire, 31 dmg.

Tyke: Wall of Fire deals 30 dmg and the Wall of Force drops.
Tyke then drops his Wall of Fire, and speaks to the guards. Tells them, we're from the future. Malthrix was after the Chalice and started the war to get to it.

Cave: Rondax is taunting the 6 dwarves and leads them from the cave.
Sarsa and Bono approach. Bono casts Silent Image and throws his voice, trying to pull more guards away from the tunnel. Bono loses his disguise and the dwarves start chasing him. JL jibes with Sarsa about opening the door and time.

Courtyard:
Tyke explains when we are from and the events from which we transitioned. He warns them of the power of the Chalice, and the fact that they have no idea how to use it properly. He gives the esper permission to enter his mind.

Camp:
Rodax enters the natural cave. Goads the dwarves into following. They stop at the edge before fully entering the cave. Rondax throws a boomerang at one, the dwarves return with sling stones. Rondax runs over, grabs one, and pulls him into the cave. The remaining dwarves approach and attack Rondax. Bono leads three dwarves along Rondax's trail and into the cave.
JL, Prentice, and Herman leave the shack with the knocked out dwarf. (I didn't record how they made it out of the cave and into the shack).

Courtyard:
Esper mind probes on Tyke. The esper vanishes. The cleric demands to know where the esper went. Reality starts to bend.

Camp:
Bono & Rondax facing off against 9 dwarves. Reality starts to warp there as well. (OOC: This probably marks when the Chalice would have been set off)
Prentice & Rondax meet, actually snapping to each other.
Herman jumps to JL.
Hilarity ensues as reality warps, bends, and snaps.

Tyke manages to pull the group out of the warped reality with some Philosophy and Geometry.
None of the spoils from the ghost town makes it back to actuality.
