Mishramm

Mishramm is a goblin shaman of the — tribe, which was forced to retreat from — after what has been called the “Rat Wars.” Though young, Mishramm commands much respect and power not only within his own tribe but in several others known to him.

As a very passionate and vocal member of the Greater Dawning movement, Mishramm has been actively preaching ideals of goblins learning from the other races and civilizations of power the aspects that have made those races the ruling powers on Galon and making them a part of the goblin race as well, thus elevating the goblins to the same level of humans and elves in the civilized world. To further this end, Mishramm has at long last accepted Sycron the Collector's invitation and entered into the Challenge, on the condition that he not be placed in a group with other goblins. This is how he came to be a member of the New Warriors, where he carefully observes the stategies, tactics, and mindsets of his companions. Despite how irritatingly bipolar Mishramm finds Corrigan, he has been trying to work closely with the gnome wizard to better learn from Corrigan's business and political acumen so that Mishramm may impart it to his people.

However, this close association to a gnome, regardless of the two being placed together on the whim of Lord Sycron, has earned Mishramm a measure of enmity amongst certain goblins, for there has been a long and bloody history between the two races comparable to that between the goblins and the kobolds. For while many goblins find wisdom in the ideals of the Greater Dawning movement extolled by Mishramm, there are just as many opposed to it, and cling still to the old goblin “traditions” of simply breeding mass numbers to throw at enemies in an attempt to overwhelm them or be slaughtered. Since Mishramm and other members of the Greater Dawning despise and reject how useless such things have become, he has received more than one threat on his life from his fellow goblins. Most of these Mishramm has been able to turn aside with the promise that the fulfillment of such an act would only serve to make a martyr out of him, and as a shaman deeply tied to the spirit world, the threat of his ghost gaining vengeance for itself doesn't hurt either. (Also, the fact that he has access to the Renewal Domain may be another reason why Mishramm is unfazed by threats of death.)
